Cruise Moab - trail day 3 on 7 Mile. Experience the thrill of 7 Mile trail, where you'll encounter breathtaking views and diverse terrain unlike any other. This trail offers a unique and exciting off-road adventure that will leave you wanting more. Don't miss out on the opportunity to explore this incredible trail and create memories that will last a lifetime. Description: The 7 Mile Rim trails leaves Highway 191 just north of Highway 313, about 11 miles north of town. It passes the old Cotter uranium mine and switches back to reach the cliff rim above the mine and Highway 191. The intense mining activity left a maze of core-drilling roads on the mesa top, and the trail seeks the most interesting of these. At the southern end of the rim it turns west to parallel UT 313. Along the way, Uranium Arch is visited. The trail joins other roads in the vicinity of Merrimac Butte and Monitor Butte before tucking up near Big Mesa. It passes near Determination Towers before using Tusher Pass to dip into Tusher Wash and the interesting environs beyond. Wheeling Meca Of The World - Moab After several days of traveling across the country, we arrive in Moab Utah and meetup with Wheeelingals. The next morning we head into town to check in for Cruise Moab. Today’s schedule is to help Wheeelingals lead a group ride on Chicken Fingers. The ride takes us through the Utah backcountry and The Catacombs. Description: Chicken Corners travels along a high, steep cliff 1,000 feet above the Colorado River. Be sure to take time to stop and explore the catacomb caves along the way. Mostly composed of gravel and red dirt, this is a very popular trail with some of the most phenomenal scenery you'll encounter in Moab. You will likely run into dirt bikers and mountain bikers, so please be respectful. This ride has the option to connect to Lockhart Basin. Wheeling Meca Of The World Dome Plateau trail goes up the Colorado River to leave the highway just past the Dewey Bridge. It follows below the line of Entrada Sandstone cliffs that have three noteworthy arches in the first few miles. The plateau slopes upward to the south but is broken by canyons, two of which are crossed on the way to an outstanding viewpoint high above the Colorado River. The trail route returning northward views distant arches in Arches National Park and passes near La Boca Arch. This great family trail will also visit some dinosaur tracks. Some interesting sandstone caves may be visited Wheeelingals leads this group ride on Dome Plateau The ride takes us through the Utah backcountry with amazing views, challenging obstacles with some epic dinosaur tracks.
